Sharmeen Obaid Chinoy will be participating in the International Museum of Women's "Imagining Ourselves" Online Exhibit and Global Gatherings.
Through an interactive online exhibit, a series of global gatherings and a new book, Imagining Ourselves is a platform for young women to create positive change in their lives, communities and the world.

Women of the Holy Kingdom will be screened at the Kara Film Festival in Karachi on December 8th 2005 12:45 p.m. at the Pakistan Institute of International Affairs.
The documentary will be re-screened on Friday December 9th at 12:00 p.m. at the Iqra University Auditorium.

Sharmeen Obaid Chinoy will be speaking at a panel in Vancouver about the effects of the earthquake on South Asia. The event "SHOCK ON THE LINE OF CONTROL: DOES THE EARTHQUAKE OPEN OPPORTUNITIES FOR CHANGE IN SOUTH ASIA?" is free and open to the public.

Sharmeen Obaid Chinoy will be travelling to Balakot and parts of Kashmir to report on the aftermath of the earthquake. Her reports will be published in several newspapers in North America.

Sharmeen Obaid Chinoy will be speaking to interns about events in the Middle East at the New York Times headquarters on Friday November 18th.

World Youth Peace Summit has named Sharmeen Obaid Chinoy as their youth ambassador from Pakistan. She joins youth leaders from Bosnia, India, Israel, Japan, Thailand and South Africa.
